Details:
At Grotfjord near Tromso Norway we had beautiful auroras for many hours so I decided to experiment with my iPhone 13 to see what it could do. Until very recently mobile phones didn't record the aurora very well. In the last couple of years most new phones are quite good at it.
All these photos are hand held and using the phones own settings. They are just point and shoot photos but give a good idea of what a newish mobile phone can do.
