Details:
The first image is a composite. It consists of three images of the solar eclipse taken through a Televue 76mm lens with a 2x Powermate using a Canon R5 camera. The images on the right were taken using a pinhole mask. The first and third pinhole images show the inversion created by the pinhole effect. The central pinhole image depicts the “Ring of Fire” phase. The pinhole images were taken with an iPhone SE camera. The composite was accomplished using Photoshop. The second image is a close-up of the pinhole image taken at maximum eclipse. The pictures were taken at the Open Space Visitor Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico from approximately 9:12am-12:12pm local time. Imagers were Jodi and Roy McCullough from Salem, Ohio.
