Details:
Despite Bz going positive, the spike in solar wind density after 0545Z today sparked an easily visible aurora glow, even high up in the sky (where the reds above the green shows in the images), until thin clouds rolled in obscuring the spooky party with Draco dancing in the lights and Ursa Minor dipping. No aurora was visible earlier at 0500Z with clear dark skies, naked eye or in photos.
