I headed out as soon as I received a text alert that a CME was about to hit. Data never seemed to get very impressive this night, although I captured these pillars over a short window of time. Even then, the Bz was hardly negative(if it even was when I captured the pillars), the ovation oval was meager, and the wind speed was under 500. I was pleasantly suprised to see the substorm. This is a 5-image panorama shot on a Canon R, with a 35mm Sigma Art lens, at 6400 iso, f1.8, 8 seconds.
