Details:
Having read here last night about the new sunspot (AR3421) with a mixed polarity magnetic field I set up to image the sun as soon as possible this morning. I was immediately very excited to see on the full disc calcium K line image that a flare in AR3421 was in progress. On checking here that an M2 flare had only been in progress for 5 minutes.
