Details:
I imaged the Supper Blue Moon on 08-31-23 off the deck from my home. I used a Canon 300mm L2.8 lens with extender EF 1.4x II and an extender EF 2x II all stacked together on a Canon 5D Mark III. The sky was full with a thin to thick layer of clouds. This image was cropped and I reduced the overall size of the full image.
Did you ever want to know what the August Super Blue Moon means? I have the answer for you.
The second full moon in one month is also known as a blue moon, like the phrase โonce in a blue moon,โ according to NASA. Just don't expect it to take on a blue hue. Typically, full moons occur every 29 days, while most months in our calendar last 30 or 31 days, so the months and moon phases don't always align.
Kind Regards To ALL ๐
