Details:
I was wrapping up an all-nighter in my backyard testing out some new astro equipment when, looking up, I was startled to see Venus above a neighbor's housetop. We live on the west side of a hill with houses on it so there's no low-east view. Since its inferior conjunction on Aug 13th it had already moved so far from the Sun as to clear all the obstacles to be visible from our house? I looked around and noted Jupiter on the meridian and Saturn preparing to set. Somehow it was very satisfying to have the 3 planets so symmetrically arranged in the sky. The next night I arranged to get these photos leading up to that point.

#1: Labels things along the Zodiac (4:30am)
#2: Labels prominent asterisms (5:45am)
#3: Venus rising, Jupiter on meridian, Saturn setting (6:15am)
