I spent a week stargazing in the mountains south of France and enjoyed excellent observing conditions, despite a serious heatwave with record-breaking temperatures.
On the last night I noticed significant airglow and tried to take a full-sky panoramic picture.
The result largely exceeds my expectations, as I never saw on my own before such bright green airglow in all directions. This is likely another sign of the coming solar maximum.
