Details:
Science predicted a calm "solar weather" for this weekend. The professionals have other standards, because this eruption today impressed me enormously! I was already disassembling my instruments when I took a final look through my small "standby" Lunt telescope. What an eruption! I noticed already before constantly bright knots in this prominence. But it was unattractive from the shape, so that I did not want to observe it any longer. For a film animation it was too late, I was too hectic. Here a photo of a series of this high rising eruption.
