Details:
I have just processe some old date from the 2 July 2023 between 09:49 and 10:42 UT of the expansive AR3354. If you look carefully there is a dark fuzzy patch that moves north (vertically) of the leading sunspot (right hand side). It appears to travel at a constant velocity and lengthens as it moves north. I was imaging from the same part of the CCD chip and so this is not an artifact of the camera or the optical train. I have animated the same sequence from GONG El Teide but the resoution and seeing stability are inconclusive. What do people think. I was imaging 210 frame video sets every two minutes at 2,000 mm focal length using a Takahashi TOA 130, Lunt wedge and solar continuum filter.
