Details:
Venus completed its lower conjunction to the Sun about 8 degrees south from our point of view on 13.08.2023 and passed into the morning sky. Since the apparent diameter of the Full Moon is 0.5 degrees, it was very close to the Sun at that time.
For this, it is necessary to be very careful when observing Venus with a telescope.
Venus will be visible to the naked eye 1 hour before sunrise on the eastern horizon after August 25, 2023.
In the photo, 1% of the planet is seen as illuminated. A large part of this brightly visible part is the atmosphere of Venus.
