Details:
I had the challenge of dodging cumulus clouds and timing some gusty winds to be successful in observing Venus so close to inferior conjunction. Using a properly aligned GOTO mount was a must in locating our sister world and protecting eyesight since its angular distance was less than 8 degrees from the Sun. I used a Celestron EDGE HD C9.25 SCT and a ZWO ASI290mm camera to create this IR610RGB image.
