Details:
I imaged the Venus Inferior Conjunction at 7° on 08-13-23 from my Manorville NY Observatory. Venus was very Beautiful and Dangerous at the same time. Venus was at 7° near the Sun. This made it very challenging for me and my EdgeHD 14" OTA. My main thing was trying to keep out sunlight and not ruin my telescope. My heart was racing with the hopes I would be able to image the Venus Inferior Conjunction and make my mark in h personal history book. As I promised, I would share my image, and this is my offering. I even made a short animation of Venus looking like a visual heartbeat. I hope it shows up ok in the gallery on this webpage. If a can share one thing with you all that read this. You should always remember: The "Sun" is the BIG BOSS in the Sky and requires the utmost respect in its presence. If you don't, you will get burned. Kind Regards To ALL.
