With a bit of practice and the help of the nice forum, the Sol'Ex invented by Christian Buil is rather easy to use! Today with my cheap ASI 120 MM-S, my Orion ED-80, and a 0.5 reducer to get about 300 mm FL I was able to see the Sun successively in H-alpha, in Ca-K, and in Helium ... Great! As the Sun does not fit completely on this small and cheap monochrome camera, I did mosaics of 2 or 3 fields using GIMP2 from reconstructed images by JSolex 1.6.3 freeware. Helium is the most difficult to mosaic.
