Details:
Crescent Venus at 1:42 PM PDT Aug 8, 2023 10 degrees from the sun just 1.5% illuminnated. Celestron C11 prime focus. Best 150 of 3000 frames with ZWO ASI 178MM with red filter. Autostakkert, Registax, adjusted levels and magnified 2x in Photoshop. Tried to find Venus with binoculars and thought I found it multiple times but it was just Cottonwood seeds floating in the air.
