Details:
While using my VHF narrow-band radio receiver setup to detect meteor echoes, I was able to detect the radio noise burst from the recent CME event. The noise appears as confetti in the screen shots, increasing in density while the K index climbed to almost level 7. The brighter spots mixed in with the noise are from meteor echoes. During this same time frame the VLF propagation was affected, as noted by the signal level changes of station NAA transmitting at 24.0 KHz.
