Details:
I was playing catch with my son when I happened to look up and saw an upside-down rainbow straight above us. The sun was low, it was around 7 p.m. in the Seattle area. There weren't many clouds, either, which made this phenomenon more arresting. At one point, the rainbow arc was visible in what seemed to be clear sky.
