Details:
Mercury, Venus, Mars, and the Moon gathered together in the west Wednesday evening (Jul 19, 2023) around the 1st-magnitude star Regulus in Leo the Lion. So did storm clouds--I never could capture Mercury and Mars at the same time.

#1: Venus, Mars, and the Moon are spaced equally around Regulus. There's a bit of lightning in the clouds at the horizon towards the right edge.
#2: ditto, labeled
#3: This was taken 12 minutes earlier that demonstrates that Mercury was present while a little cloud photobombed Mars. The same lens was used but the photo is cropped much more tightly.

Photo data:
Panasonic G9, Leica 15mm lens, photo tripod
... #1, #2: f/2.8, 4 sec, ISO 400
... #3: f/2.8, 1/2 sec, ISO 400
