Details:
Spotted this bright meteor whilst trying to catch the aurora in the summer twilight skies. Wondering if it might be an early Perseid ? looks about the right trajectory. Managed to catch my first aurora of the season on camera soon after, with some pink rays to the northwest. Unfortunately the strongest activity was earlier in the night when the twilight was just too strong. Meteor shot taken at 0016 UTC with a Canon 6d and Samyang 24 mm lens, 5 secs, iso3200, f2.8. Aurora shot taken at 0039 UTC, 8 secs iso3200, f2.8.
