Details:
Large sunspot 3354 was really mean looking on the sun today! But, I had to image through really dense Canadian wildfire smoke from 1000 miles away!. I included a picture grabbed from today's newscast of the view from my Kentucky town's tallest building showing the overwhelming smoke. I can't believe I could even get an image at all. My exposure times were doubled and the gain was much higher. 127 mm f/9.4 refractor, Quark-C/Lunt double-stack filter, ASI174mm camera.
