Details:
This No Filter, 100% Naked-eye Giant Sunspot (AR3354), seven times wider than Earth, was cropped from one of the 4 photos previously posted then re-colored.
We are getting thick smoke from the wildfires from Canada in Indiana. I took these photos with my Nikon P1000 at 7:17pm and no filter. I was amazed at the detail of the sun through the smoke.
