Details:
The sun had a few photogenic things on it today. A few sunspots looked OK, especially newly formed sunspot 3333. Keep an eye on the development of this one. Also, there was a detached prominence blob too. Other than not being cloudy, everything was wrong today for solar imaging. The wind was gusting to 25 mph, the wind direction was blowing hot roof air over the scope, and there was Canadian wildfire smoke turning the sky gray! Somehow, the images still looked good! 127mm f/9.4 refractor, Quark/Lunt double-stack filter (Quark only for prominence), ASI174mm camera.
