Details:
The new supernova SN 2023ixf in M101 may have peaked at magnitude 11. Magnitude observations posted to The American Association of Variable Star Observers (AAVSO)web site have not changed for > 36h indicating mag 11 +/- 0.2 might be the peak. The supernova will hopefully remain bright for some weeks allowing for time to collect images of the peak and then more images of its decline in the months ahead. This image was captured with iTelescope T2.
