Details:
Early in the morning on Friday 5th May, perfectly clear skies provided an uninterrupted view of the Full Moon setting behind Chikanga Township before dawn. The accompanying photos were obtained between 5.05 and 5.34 am with illumination being provided by the Full Moon, street lights in Chikanga and foreground illumination from security lighting on my residence. As often happens when the Moon descends behind haze its colour changes from bright yellow to orange and then red as it approaches the horizon. Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 in manual exposure mode.
