Details:
Attached is an image of the penumbral lunar eclipse that occurred this morning. Taken from Sydney, Australia with a Skywatcher 72 Evostar refractor and Canon 600D. I observed and photographed the total solar eclipse in Exmouth on April 20th. As eclipses come in pairs this lunar eclipse followed the total solar eclipse. The image shows the uneclipsed Full moon taken on Friday May 5th on the left for comparison. There was a darkening of the lunar edge. Subtle but distinct and pretty.
