Details:
There was no way I could have prepared myself for what I witnessed tonight. I've seen many aurorae & some extending to my zenith & points south. But I've never seen pulses and waves of light rippling through the sky from all directions. At times the aurora was so bright it could have cast a shadow. Things were happening so fast that I didn't know whether I should keep firing the camera shutter or sit back and watch the show unfold all around me. Tonight's aurora rivaled everything I'd ever seen.
