I'm so happy I could cry!! April 23rd was my 40th Birthday. When I saw the filament eruption the other day, and saw the timing, I thought to myself - that would be the best birthday present EVER!! OH DID IT DELIVER!! This is Bond Falls in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. It's been on my bucket list to get Aurora with for years. I knew it could need something spectacular to make to see them here. Why? Well this is facing directly SOUTH!! When I saw the data take off, I rushed down here. Set up the composition, and did the focus stack. Then timelasped the Aurora dancing overhead. The pulsing... the motion... it was incredible. I'll remember this night forever!
