Details:
A uniform veil of high cloud produced a strong sun halo. These halos might be common but it is always fascinating to see them 'looking down' on the landscape. They are a great phenomenon to engage public interest in the sky and everything which goes on there, adding variety and interest to everyday life. We use these events to encourage wider interest in the natural world as our community seeks to play its part in tackling the international crisis for the environment. Because they are not rare and can be easily seen by everyone, they are a great catalyst for attracting attention and always elicit a reaction.
