Details:
The first two photos were taken last year on Easter Sunday (April 17th), and the remaining two were taken yesterday evening (April 8th). It is so incredible that twelve months on, and fifteen months after the eruption of Hunga Tonga, southern hemisphere observers are still witnessing these spectacular twilight colours, courtesy of the volcanic stratospheric aerosols! Noeleen Lowndes and Peter Lowenstein have also been documenting the evolution of the volcanic aerosol twilights from Queensland, Australia, and Mutare, Zimbabwe, respectively.
