Details:
I ran a camera on an intervalometer overnight on 24/25 March at Harleston Norfolk UK C.52 degrees. The show lasted on and off from 11.30pm through to dawn the next morning c. 6.00am. The camera was set the same all night. The colours were predominantly red to begin with, however the whole scene became predominantly blue in the hours before dawn. Does anyone know why that happens? Nothing was changed with the camera. Was it the colour of the aurora or something else?
