These were the brightest auroras I've ever seen. I did not even think we would be able to see them because it had been raining the whole day. But then about an hour before the peak in activity the sky cleared up. Revealing naked eye visible auroras. You could even see the dull colors. As well as flashes of green and pink-something I've never seen before. At one point all my camera picked up was red. It was definitely the best geomagnetic storm I've ever witnessed. Camera: Nikon D5100, F3.5, 18-55mm Lens, ISO 2000, exposures were 13 and 15 seconds.
