Details:
Somewhere in the world today the thin crescent Moon on the third day has obscured the planet Venus. Unfortunately from the Italian latitudes the approach between the two bodies took place only in daylight and without any occultation. However, since the two are visible even in daylight, it was possible to watch the show by seeing them "hidded" and immersed in the blue sky, with the sun high on the horizon and at the naked eye. In fact, with a fairly clear sky, once the Moon was identified, it was inevitable to be able to perceive the presence of Venus at its side. Venus is so bright to be visible at the naked eye in daylight too, but only if you know where to find it. So the Moon was today the right finger to know where to watch it. It has been very wonderful to see it with my young alumns at school. I helped them to identify them with a fishing rod :)
