Details:
Saw a G2 to G3 geomagnetic storm was ongoing, then an outburst occurred and an insane display presented itself to the entire US. The aurora appeared at around 10 pm EDT and raged for nearly two hours. At one point, the power grid 100 yards from me buzzed from the electromagnetic activity!
