Details:
To say I am in absolute awe and utter amazement at this moment would be such an understatement. Never in my life (and most certainly never, in the 2 years I have been chasing and photographing auroras, have I witnessed this level of intensity and beauty! I saw the most intensely brightly lit, pulsating and rich array of colors dancing in the skies of Mears, Michigan. Also a first, is being able to see (overhead) auroras not just from the north, not from the east and west too. This image is actually looking EAST. Such an incredible night I will never forget! Equipment used / EXIF: Nikon Z6ii, 20mm, ISO 800, 6 seconds, f1.8.
