Description:
Comet C/2022 U2 (ATLAS) imaged on January 14, 2023, just on the day of its perihelion at a distance of 1.3 AU to the Sun. In this moment had a brightness at magnitude 10 with a very diffuse-looking green gaseous coma measuring 6.5' in angular size and no tail.
