Details:
This is a shot I took back in 2019 of Orion with my £90 second hand Canon SX530 camera at maximum optical zoom. Processed in StarTools and Astrosurface and then stars removed using Starnet++. Removing the stars lets you see much more detail in the fainter nebula. Unfortunately, the gif animation degrades the image quality but you can see a high quality webp version here http://starrydave.com/images/M42%20191221%20darker.webp
