Details:
I was out twice last night before it clouded over about midnight. They were like two different aurora's. Very active, very, very fast. Flashes, strobbing, pulsing, lightning might be the only thing faster than some of the light that would shoot up. At times I saw vivid green. Active aurora straight up and to the south of me, west to east. I can't over emphasize the speed. The flickering, flashing, pulsing was similar to fireworks at times. This is a pan at ISO 3200 f/1.4 1.6 second exposures at 11:13 pm pst.
