Flights are the perfect opportunity to spot atmospheric optical phenomena and with a 12-hour westbound flight departing an hour before sunset, I was granted sundogs, glories.. and this unusual sight. A quadruple sunset above the clouds. Intense lens flares? Refraction? Fata Morgana? I watched it unfold with curiosity and wonder.
