Details:
Comet ZTF was observed overhead before moonrise under 9/10 Bortle 4 skies. I was not able to see it naked eye. I'd estimate ZTF's brightness as +5.8. Ion tail was obvious in the starless and fixed comet using 67 sub images but was not in the fixed star image of just 3x60s image (left). Still, it is worth a final look especially tomorrow when it passes close to Mars (2/9).
Tech Specs: Nikon d7100, Nikkor 180mm f/2.8 @ f/2.8, iso 1600, Orion Sirius EQ Mount, PixInsight. Left image is fixed stars (3x60s), the remaining images show fixed comet with stars trailing average from 7:01PM to 8:49PM just before moonrise. The comet was still moving at a fast 10.7 arcmin/hour or ~4.3 degrees per day!
