Details:
Comet ZTF was observed nearly overhead before moonrise under near perfect Bortle 4 skies. I was able to see it naked eye using averted vision and to be sure I verified it was binoculars. I'd estimate ZTF's brightness as +5.6. Ion tail was obvious in the starless images but was only suspected in the fixed star image. Still, all in all I pretty nice comet. Tech Specs: Nikon d7100, Nikkor 180mm f/2.8 @ f/2.8, average iso 2860, Orion Sirius EQ Mount, PixInsight. Left image is fixed stars (5x30s), center & right fixed comet with no stars average (81x38s). The comet was stil lmoving at a fast 10.7 arcmin/hour.
