Details:
For the past four mornings, I have observed twilight arches on the predawn eastern horizon. I shot this one with my phone camera this morning. This evening, at 6:oo pm, CST, there was a purplish-pink dome forty-five degrees over the sun's position below the horizon, and as I look out my west window at 6:15 pm, I can see this evening's twilight arch fading toward the horizon. The jury is still out as to what is in the upper troposphere or low stratosphere that is causing these volcanic-esque twilight colors. They have been ongoing (on and off) for nearly three months now.
