Details:
Strong moonlight tonight, and the comet has moved to a position that is difficult to see from my normal observing location. So, had to move the kit to the front side of the house where there are streetlights as well as the moonight. Since it is at nearly its closest approach to Earth it is moving quite rapidly. I collected 100 frames of 1.3 seconds each over a period of around 6 ½ minutes. I then stacked the 100 frames aligning on the comet. This produces very significant star trails due to the comet's movement. I then stacked the first 10 frames of the sequence and the last 10 frames of the sequence. This of course, much reduces the star trails, and by matching the star fields shows the comet's movement, as does the consequent animation.
