White Space: in the footsteps of Amundsen and Scott yesterday... 😉 Total white out today on the Opitz hill near Freital... Rare white space weather phenomenon. Snow and fog blended into a single area of white. It was only when you got close to things that they became visible. Lots of rime ice and clear ice on the trees and bushes. How might the two polar explorers and her companions have felt in Antarktica 1911/1912 when they might have seen this scenario for days... The wonderful conjunction of the crescent moon, Venus and Saturn yesterday in the farthest distance, as well as the comet ZTF, which I have never seen before and have mentally ticked off. This weather will continue for at least 14 days...
