Details:
For the first time, I was able to set up my double-stack h-alpha imaging system consisting of a Quark Chromosphere and a Lunt 40mm etalon from their 40mm tilt-tune solar scope. I used an adapter from RafCamera to screw on the 40mm Lunt etalon (after unscrewing it from the Lunt scope). The best part is both the Quark and the Lunt are unmodified. Just screw off and screw on the Lunt filter and tilt-tune and image! And, wow, are the double-stack images higher contrast and smoother! What a difference! The day was very windy and the seeing was not good....but it was good enough. 127mm f/9.4 achromatic refractor, Daystar Quark Chromosphere/Lunt etalon double-stack filter, ZWO ASI174mm camera.
