Details:
Shutters or blinds can act as multiple pinholes. In the presence of large sunspots, as now, they become observable with the principle of this very simple pinhole camera. In addition to sunspots visible on all solar discs, some discs display the shadow of a tree’s branches in front of the window. On the image with higher contrast taken by a smartphone, the limb darkening is also detectable. A minimal and safe solar observation method!
