Big filaprom associatied with R 3180 on the NW limb put on spectracular show this morning about 9 PM CST. First impression was a pterosaur trying to take off from the surface of the solar ocean. It evolved into a more modern dragon as I watched! Filaproms are FUN! Lunt 60, B 1200 Ha diagonal, 12mm Plossl, iPhone 12s orignal and noir modes.
