Details:
Today, Monday January 9, the sun continues to give us an incredible show. In the southern hemisphere, we can see 4 active regions, really very active!!! The new sunspot AR3184, located in the southeast limb, produced an X-class flare at 18:50 UT, while AR3182 a few days ago was also responsible for several very powerful flares. Around the solar disk, we can also contemplate numerous prominences. Our star started the year with a lot of activity, a sign that we are getting closer to the maximum of this new cycle. To take this picture I used a 90mm Coronado Solarmax II solar telescope and a ZWO 183 MM camera.
