Not much as changed with Comet E3 since my first image was taken 22 Dec (www.flickr.com/photos/cloud_spirit/52580173715). With PixInsight, I used various post-processing modes to help enhance the comet's structure. The next update will probably have to wait until Jan 6 due to weather. However, by then the full moon will degrade the comet's appearance due to lack of sky contrast. The top left image has comet stationary with stars trailing between 4:12AM to 5:57AM. Comet is now moving ~1 arcmin / hr. The bottom right shows stationary stars with a slight movement of the comet. Tech Specs: Nikon d7100, Nikkor 180mm F2.8 @ f/2.8, ISO 3200, 65x90s. Orion Sirius EQ Mount, Oracle, Arizona, Bortle 4, Sky Transparence 7/10, Temperature 40F, RH 85%, no winds.
