Details:
Viewed with the unaided eye, the scene showed the Pleiades star cluster high above the eclipsed moon, while the stars of Orion's belt lay horizontal to the horizon, blazing brightly on the moon's left. The scene became even more dramatic as the sun began to rise and I could see the reddish-orange glow of the totally eclipsed moon as it set in the west while simultaneously watching the impending sunrise's pinkish glow grow ever brighter in the east. It was a spectacular sight !
