When a total solar eclipse is out of reach, a partial one is still good fun. Where you want clear skies during a total eclipse, some clouds during a partial eclips isn't too bad, it gives the scenery a more dramatic look. Took some shot with and without solar filter. The ones with filter show the two sunspots near the edge of the disk. Nikon Z5, 24-200 Nikon lens, shot at 200 mm with filter: 1/8000 s, f 36, ISO 200 without filter: 1/400 s, f 13, ISO 200
